Meet the Doctor.
Dr. Westyn is a board-certified, licensed Doctor of Chiropractic. Born in Berkeley and raised in Alameda, California, he developed a passion for movement and performance through competitive tennis. After dealing with recurring injuries, he turned to chiropractic care, which not only helped him recover but sparked a profound interest in the healing process and the complexities of the human body.
Motivated by a desire to serve others, Dr. Westyn earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2017. During this time, he also spent sixteen months studying abroad in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. After a brief stint in the tech industry, Dr. Westyn decided to change direction and pursue a career in chiropractic at the age of 31.
While pursuing his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Dr. Westyn developed a strong interest in sports performance, rehabilitation, and adjunctive care modalities. A transformative service trip to Gujarat, India, where he treated hundreds of patients in just four days, broadened his understanding of global healthcare.
Dr. Westyn graduated from Life Chiropractic College West with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2024 and holds certifications in Graston Technique and RockTape. Outside of chiropractic, he enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and staying current with the latest advancements in technology, aesthetics, and healthcare.
Health Philosophy
“As a chiropractor, my approach to health is rooted in a holistic perspective that goes beyond simply treating symptoms. True wellness is a balance of diet, movement, hydration, mindfulness, positive thinking, strong social connections, supplementation when needed, and restorative sleep. I believe you hold the key to your own healing, and my role is to empower, guide, and facilitate your journey toward better health. The body has an incredible ability to heal itself, given the right environment and circumstances.
While I acknowledge the value of surgical and pharmacological interventions in certain cases, I prioritize conservative, non-invasive care as a first line of defense for most musculoskeletal conditions. Pain is the body’s way of communicating that something needs attention. Chronic pain, however, is a signal that requires immediate attention, warning of imminent long-term issues. Achieving lasting health requires discipline, education, and a strong sense of accountability. I’m here to support you every step of the way but ultimately, your health is in your hands.”
